Great Product June 29, 2010 NR Needed this to replace an LCD screen on my cell phone. Great quality tool and case.
Wouldn't chose the kit to be my permanent one June 21, 2010 Ilya Konstantinov (Israel) I've underestimated the other comments talking about the cheap build. The storage case was broken on arrival (might've broke in shipment), but I didn't mind it much, because the case was extremely flimsy to begin with: made of thin, bending (not solid) plastic.
The screwdrivers seem fair. They should open the screws they promise to. However, unless you need them for a one-time job, you'd have no decent case to put the heads into.
Great value; worked well May 21, 2010 Glenn Cole (Sunnyvale, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I needed a Phillips 00 screwdriver and a Torx T-6 to replace the hard drive in my Mac laptop. (I needed a spudger as well, but the handle end of a Tupperware citrus peeler worked well for that.)
This set worked perfectly. At about $10, it's also a strong value for the money.
Many thanks to the other reviewers here who noted that the "extension" isn't optional; it's an essential part of using the kit. Otherwise, I would have made the same mistake of dropping the bits into the handle.
I'm very happy with this purchase.
Good Tools April 15, 2010 Maksymilian Rudnicki 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this tool set about 4 weeks ago, and what can I say? For this price its really good choice, since they doesnt look cheesy and the tips don't damage the screws.
Great little kit! April 8, 2010 Alice Wakefield (USA) I've been encountering more torx-head screws lately, and this will probably increase since they are supposed to be superior fasteners. Recently I needed a T-9 to change an aquarium light and the smallest bit I had was a T-10. Rats! I did find a T-9 (not a common size) but didn't feel like paying $8.00 for a possibly single-use tool. For a couple dollars more, I found this handy 32-bit kit which solved my problem and should cover any future needs.
I like the build quality, clear snap-case, labeled racks and compact size. It would make a great gift for any handyman or woman. I hang it on pegboard so I always know where it is, but take it off the peg before opening, as the contents are likely to fall out.
